Project Halo launches Shoeboxes for Shelters |

Project Halo is a no-kill animal shelter in Charlotte and this year, it's holding its inaugural Shoeboxes for Shelters drive.

The shelter is partnering with neighborhood businesses during the holiday season to collect shoe boxes of donations for the shelter, and the dogs that are re-homed.

All you have to do is fill a shoebox with items on the list below, and drop it off. Click here for a list of drop-off locations.

Blankets, towels
Paper towels
Bleach
Antibacterial wipes
Self-wringing mops
Laundry detergent
Natural Dog Bones (not rawhide)
Crate covers
Treats
Toys
Collars
Leashes
Gift Cards
