Group of teens forced to undress before being robbed, police say | Crime

SOUTH CHARLOTTE (WBTV) - A group of teens were forced to undress during an armed robbery that happened on Monday evening, police said.

The incident happened at an apartment in the 1900 block of Mereview Court in Charlotte between 8 and 8:45 pm, according to a police report.

Police said that two male teens and another young female were robbed a gunpoint by three suspects after “the suspects told them to undress.”

The suspects pointed a gun at the group and took their property and a car.

The car, a 2001 white Maxima, was last seen on Mereview Court heading towards Sharon Lakes Road.

Other property stolen included money, cell phones and some clothing.

The group of victims was not hurt, police said.
